Yes,Lovecraft's most horrifying creation is now a 17 inch tall figurine made out of wire, aluminum foil, epoxy and Super Sculpey; as featured in HORRORSHOW magazine and the upcoming Lovecraft tribute book from Centipede Press. Oozing with green slime and ready to come knocking at your door. Wish I would have made a mold of this guy. Maybe someday.
Daily DeviationGiven 2009-02-04From suggester: "The sheer amount of detail Cthulhu maquette by ~shaungent blows my mind! shaungent's sculptures are both grotesque and beautiful, capturing ever fold of flesh, scale, and tentacle." I have read and seen plenty of descriptions and sculptures based on Cthulhu, but this one stands out above the others. The variety of textures and designs worked into this piece compliment each other wonderfully. (Suggested by *snapesgirl34 and Featured by ^Thebuild) |

Why don´t add thesame tech-info on the description of the pic as the one you gave to one other dude that commented you?
I was just about to ask thesame question as he/she did... aaw, anyway awsome work!
Really dig your style. When I´m done with my écorché I´m working on now I´m gonna make some smaller sculpts too...
Thanks for the inspiration!
